Dan Geiger, Director

Dan Geiger joined the Alliance as its Director in April 2016.  He is a highly experienced non-profit leader with more than 25 years of startup, executive and consulting experience. Principal of Dan Geiger Consulting, Dan helps organizations and people thrive with services including strategic and business planning, sustainability programs, organizational development, and special projects.  Previously, he was Executive Director of the Northern California Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, Executive Director of Groundspring.org, an online communications service provider, and founding CEO of OpNet, a youth employment development organization.  He has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC-Berkeley.

Pete Caldwell, Chairman

Pete is the Executive Director of We Care Services for Children, where he oversees all areas of operation. A Contra Costa native, Pete joined We Care in 2001 after various positions with organizations including, Sacramento County Mental Health Division, New Pathways Counseling and the Intern Counseling Program at CSU East Bay. He has taught Psychology and Human Development courses at St. Mary’s College, Diablo Valley College and continues to serve on the Chemical Dependency Certificate Faculty at CSUEB.

Jane fischberg

Jane is the CEO of  Rubicon Programs. Most immediately prior to Rubicon, Jane was at the City/County of San Francisco Department of Human Services, where she managed contracted supportive housing programs, developed agency collaboratives in that field, and established that County’s Shelter Plus Care program. Prior to serving at SFDHS, Jane had 12 years management experience at San Francisco based nonprofit organizations dedicated to helping people move out of poverty. 

Jane received her BA degree from Williams College in Massachusetts, her MPA degree from San Francisco State University, and has received additional training at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, and at Harvard Business School. Jane has been named a Woman of Distinction by the Business Times, and has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus by the SFSU MPA Department.  


 

ANTOINETTE HARRIS, M.S.W.

Antoinette Harris is the Contra Costa Community Based Services Regional Manager for Uplift Family Services (formerly EMQ FamiliesFirst). Antoinette has been in the Contra Costa leadership role since 2000 and spent many years prior as a direct service in-home counseling and support service provider. Balancing fiscal and administrative leadership with training and coaching enables Antoinette to continue her passion to participate in strengthening children, youth and families.

Antoinette has a Bachelor’s degree from UC Davis and she received her M.S.W. from San Francisco State University.


 

SUSANNA MARSHLAND, LCSW

Susanna is the Northern California Regional Vice President of Fred Finch Youth Center.  She brings her leadership experience from social service and community organizations to her role at FFYC. Prior to working at FFYC, she held leadership positions at Kids’ Turn and California Specialty Hospital. Susanna joined FFYC in 2003 and was the Transition Age Youth Division Director and the Interim Chief Operations Officer before taking her current position in 2013. She earned her bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Harvard University and her MSW from University of California, Berkeley.
